Once again we enjoyed another Potocnik birthday! This time it was Rudy's turn to spend some quality time with Uncle Wade and Aunt Megan. Rudy spent the afternoon with us as this was our birthday present to him. We each tried to guess where Rudy would want to eat lunch (Megan voted Taco Bell and Wade voted Pizza Street). Wade was right! We enjoyed the pizza buffet at Pizza Street in Lee's Summit, Missouri. This is definitely a favorite of all the Potocnik kids!
From there, our adventures took us to the Deanna Rose Farmstead in Overland Park, Kansas. Rudy insisted on climbing to the top of everything he possibly could, including a large slide which he said was his favorite part about the farmstead. (If you know Rudy, he is a monkey and has already broken both arms in his first 6 years of life. We just wanted to take him home without any broken bones!) Our favorite was Rudy getting attacked by the baby goats as he was trying to feed them a bottle of milk. They chewed on his shorts and shirt, but luckily not his fingers. It was a successful feeding! We also liked the bison, cows, and chickens. There is a lot to do there, and we give it a thumbs up (it's FREE fun too!).
Next stop...the AMF Bowling Lanes! Besides Megan and Wade having a side competition for the highest score (which Megan won!), Rudy did pretty well considering the ball was almost as big as him. He got one strike...awesome! We were quite entertained by the dance Rudy came up with after each turn at bowling. Hence, how he earned the "chicken dancer" title.
The ride home was pretty quiet. We believe we won the match of us versus kid since he fell asleep and we didn't. We'd say it's a sign he had a good time! We love Rudy and were blessed to have the afternoon with him. Happy Birthday, Rudy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Georgia
We are excited to begin posting about some major changes going on in our lives. We were recently approved to be Missionary Associates to the nation of Georgia (where Megan worked for two years before we were married) and were able to get our first support letter and prayer card sent out just yesterday. As we begin the process of fundraising and training for our missionary assignment we would definitely appreciate your prayers.
Thank you so much for reading and we hope to use this blog as a way to bless each of you and to keep you up to date on our progress toward moving the Housh House to Georgia.
